Grass Tins

more gardening

The grass isn't always greener on the other side, but with these easy to make grass tins you can add a little outdoor color indoors.

Use a tuna or fruit can (this one was made using a Dole fruit salad can) and fill 3/4 with potting soil. Sprinkle grass seed on top of dirt and water. Set in sunny location and in less than two weeks you'll have grass. Perfect for the office or that little patch of concrete you call the backyard.
