Frozen Lemonade

more dining

Since I'm such a sucker for a 7-11 Slurpee, I've come up with a frozen lemon concoction that requires the spoon-straw to enjoy.

Each mug of the frosty beverage requires:
1 cup ice
1/2-3/4 cup water
4-5 tablespoons of frozen lemonade concentrate (I like Minute Maid)

Mix together the ice, 1/2 cup of water and the frozen lemonade in the blender. Add more water if the mixture is too thick. Serve in a cold glass with a plastic spoon-straw because it should be just a little too thick to sip through the straw at first.

The cherry Kool-Aid version makes for a yummy treat too. You've got to use less water when you make the Kool-Aid so it won't taste watered down when blended with the ice.
