I don't usually make my own cake mix, but always try to make the frosting. This one is quick and tastes similar to fudge.
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk
In a mixer combine sugar, cocoa powder and butter for 2 or 3 minutes until smooth. Add vanilla and milk and continue to beat until creamy.
